Catcher pop time — glove-to-glove seconds on a throw to second base.
What Pop time means
Measured from ball into mitt to ball into the fielder's glove, averaged over stolen-base attempts. The league has got quicker every few years — about 2.02 seconds in 2015, 1.94 in 2026 — so compare a pop time with its own season's league, not a fixed number. Under 1.88 is the quickest tenth.

What counts as a good Pop time
Lower is better — roughly 2 is poor, 1.95 average, 1.9 good, and 1.87 or better elite.
