Catcher framing runs — runs gained by turning borderline pitches into strikes.
What Framing means
Measured per taken pitch against the league-average called-strike probability at that location. The gap between the best and worst framers is worth a couple of wins a season.
What counts as a good Framing
Higher is better — roughly -5 is poor, 0 average, 5 good, and 10 or better elite.
