Ctl
Control grade — projected ability to throw strikes.
What Ctl means
The lower bar beneath command: strikes, wherever they land. A pitcher can have plus control and fringe command, and hitters will punish him for it.
What counts as a good Ctl
Higher is better — roughly 40 is poor, 50 average, 60 good, and 70 or better elite.
