Con
Contact-management grade — projected ability to suppress hard contact.
What Con means
The pitcher-side counterpart to the hit tool: how well the arsenal is expected to keep barrels off the ball once hitters do swing.
What counts as a good Con
Higher is better — roughly 40 is poor, 50 average, 60 good, and 70 or better elite.
