Stuff
Derived 20–80 grade for a single pitch, blending velocity, movement and whiff results.
What Stuff means
Our own composite, not a league-published number: it scores a pitch's physical characteristics and its swing-and-miss output against the same pitch type league-wide. 50 is average, 60+ is a plus offering.
What counts as a good Stuff
Higher is better — roughly 40 is poor, 50 average, 60 good, and 70 or better elite.
